If I have to keep seeing them made in that waste of a style, I have the right to complain about them.

Here's my thing with 3-D, I'm letting the cat out of the bag about why I hate these films:
Having shit fly off the screen at you doesn't make it a better film, only a better viewing experience. If the film can be watching in an environment where 3-D is unneeded to the experience and the film can be enjoyed without the need to bring it into the overall equation, then it isn't needed at all. If the film is only fun with it being seen in 3-D, then the film, as a whole, sucks because it's being based on a viewing-enhancement gimmick rather than it's own individual merits.

I think they just out 3D in films now, actually some films only get 3D after the fact......so I think it has nothing to do how good the film is now a days, just that 3D is popular.

Eh, I kinda get what your saying, and your right having stuff fly off the screen dosen't make the film better and it ins't needed, but it DOES make the film even more fun IMO, and I hardly see that as a bad thing, and films like the My Bloody Valentine remake really lose something when viewed in 2-D, or at least that's what the reviews said, and if the film sucks without, that's not so bad either, cause at least the 3-D gives you something to look at and makes the viewing more tolerable, that's how I see it anyways.

Whatever happened to watching a fun movie without having stuff fly out at you? It was done for decades before 3-D was invented, there's been tons upon tons of films that were fun and enjoyable without the use of it, and it's a lost art. It speaks miles of a film's reputation when the only way it's 'tolerable' is if I have to sit in a theater where it flies out at me.

ell it's not like you HAVE to watch these iflmsin 3-D, no one's forcing oyu todo so, and face it, 3-D means big money for film companies, so 3-D is definitely not going anywhere anytime soon.

I'm with GL. I loved My Bloody Valentine, but even without the 3D. It had more going for it, where as eventually these 3D films won't except the fact it's 3D, oh my.

Exactly, Wahlberg. Most films really only have the 3-D going for them to make them entertaining, and when it's viewed flat, there's not much there.
I wouldn't mind a film that managed to make itself interesting without the use of 3-D but included it anyway, so that when it's viewed in 2-D there's still something there, but it's a long time before that happens.

3D is no longer a gimmick, most films get 3D after their made cause studios think it will sell better, most films are quality.

And that really pisses me off, just leave the tits in though. That's a lot more worthwhile.

3D sells so they use it, should not make you mad. Just wait for the 2D dvd. No biggie
