Look let's play it by year, they may only do 1 more, let's just see what happens, it means another Scream, so I am more then happy.

Why they only did 3 Scream films, they did 6 Saw films so freaking far, why can't they do another with a new Ghostface slashing teens, what is so bad about it?

Nothing bad about it, did I even say that? Noooo, i'm just saying that Scream was already feeling tired by part 3(something you yourself said as well BTW), so I dunno if part 4 is gonna be much better.

Yes part 3 was tired, but not because I was sick of Scream films, just because it was not the best film of the bunch.
It has been 10 years, I want more Screams.

Oh I probably will see it, and who knows it might be good, but I was just saying that another Scream movie isn't exactly high on my list of upcoming slashers.

I agree with Dreadcentral that Courtney Cox was the best part of the films, and if she said the idea for Scream 4 is fantastic it must be good!

I don't think she was the best part, I always found Sydney the best part, and without her the 4th film will definitely feel inferior to the other films.

Eh, Gail annoyed me in the first film, though she grew on me in the 3nd, I definitely wouldn't call her terrific though!

Gail brought the comedy feel to the Scream franchise and that's why i really liked her. I really couldn't care about Sydney she deserves to die.
I'm glad she's not is this to be honest that's why i think this film has hope.

Some brief news comes in this evening as we've been tipped off that the Weinstein Company plans to shoot and release Scream IV in 3D. In addition, word on the street is that Wes Craven is closer than ever to returning to the director's chair.
