I really love this movie. What does everyone else think of it?
- I love trucks so I automatically have to love this movie - Emilio Estevez? Yes! - AC/DC killer soundtrack - Soda machines and steamrollers attacking kids? Awesome
Some might call this a guilty pleasure but I have no guilt in admitting I enjoy the hell out of it.

Cheesy goodness but nothing more. Don't know why King is so ashamed of it.

Because it got a lot of hate when released, and with all the unfair bad buzz it made him upset . He thought he made crap.

No, if everyone around you says you made crap, your gonna start thinking you made crap, not all his fault.

So, by that logic:
Everyone on DC said your reviews were crap. Where they?

No!!!!!! You have a good point there I guess, but I don't have any esteem problems, and I know they were being bullies.

Yeah, that was my point. It doesn't matter what everyone else thinks, as long as you know you're right in your own way and can back it up, it shouldn't matter.

I think horror fans are more open to this film, and that is nice to see. A film like this still getting attention now in 2009.

No I can see why it has not been remade, it is not exactly good enough to remake, or memorable enough. I can't believe Duel has not been remade.

Well My Bloody Valentine isnt exactly a memorable film, and they remade that.

My Bloody Valentine is a major cult classic from the 80's. This is not held in any regard sadly. I don't see a remake for this, but hell I could be wrong.

I think you might be wrong. . almost everyone I know, has heard of Maximum Overdrive lol. My mom was the one who introduced me to the movie, and she didnt even like horror movies, so i think its well known enough probably.

But then why remake that one? Dr.Giggles would be first, as would a new Duel. Sorry truck films are not in. I don't see it.
