Now in pre-production is a new low budget Italian horror flick from Rossella De Venuto entitled Midday Demons (Controra), which will star Federico Castelluccio, Dino, Abbrescia, Giorgio Tirabassi and Marcello Prayer. After years abroad, a couple return to Italy to stay in the family palace that hides a massive secret. The wife will be urged to solve this mystery when getting in touch with the presences that haunt the palace during the daytime. We're told the film follows the legend of "Controra", also know as the “shadows”. These are the dead who find no peace and return to settle old matters with the living.
