Which wrestling show is better and why?

Smackdown, because people wrestle on there instead of being stuck in five minute matches where they lose to a leprechaun in a handicap match only because some Y-level celebrity is shilling some new book and wants a free platform to do so without even having the slightest bit of interest in the sport. Plus, no one on there feuds for 8 months consecutively with another person, and in the end end up getting nowhere out of it, and it's a lot more fun to watch them progress on Smackdown as they're characters are shown to evolve over time, something that doesn't happen over on Raw.

I like Raw way better to be honest and that's only cause I like the people over there better. As I don't like anyone from Smackdown.

Hornswoggle vs Chavo Guerrero. That's all I need to know to say that Raw right now sucks, majorly. Smackdown rules over this show with a vengeance it's not even close.

Smackdown sucks. Painful to watch. Worst cast ever.

Smackdown is a better cast. The guys know how to wrestle instead of being stuck playing second-fiddle to jackoffs from the entertainment world who aren't fans at all of what's going on. The storylines are better, the characters are more fully-formed, the wrestling is better and the show isn't infuriating to watch at times. So there's stars on Raw, most of them couldn't wrestle to begin with, stick them over there where they can do whatever they want, give me Smackdown and it's wrestling every day of the week.

Really? Not even the matches between really sexy and tough female fighters? I actually did an eassy on gendered criticism for an MMA fight, you should really watch one on Youtube sometimes, they beat the hell out of wrestling, that's for damn sure!

I tried watching MMA once, and I lasted about three seconds before I got bored and tired of it. Ooh, they're really punching each other, big whoop. Give me a wrestling match where you spend energy and emotional investment into it, not in something that's done in five seconds. So they're not play-fighting and it's real, not scripted out move-for-move, I like it that way. I grew up on that and I'll stay that way.

Well which match did you watch? Because the ones I watched lasted around 5 minutes, you oughta try watching the ones with female fighters like Gina Carano and Christina Cyborg, as they're not over as quick as the ones with male fighters like Rampage and Kimbo Slice.

That's not the only reason, they're matches are generally alot more interesting to watch and they're not over with as quickly as the ones with the male fighters.

It's not just that, it's the fact that I just can get into a wrestling match a lot easier, I grew up with that and I'm used to that style, pacing and technique. That's just more of who I am.

I get what your saying, for me I just can't get into wrestling because of it being faked and everything, and most of the wrestlers out there now aren't very interesting IMO, It's easier for me to get into stuff like MMA, because it's not scripted and there's no dumbass background storylines or anything like that to get in the way.

Those storylines are a major reason why I love wrestling. Sure, there's some really stupid stuff out there (there's a whole website out there dedicated to pointing out the stupidity from the business in the past) but there's been a lot of great in-ring story-telling from the past that still stands up to this day:
-Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit from 2000-2004 (except for 2001, he was injured, but they basically feuded for four years and it never got old). -Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart from 1992-1997 -Steve Austin vs Vince McMahon from 1996-2003 -Steve Austin vs The Rock from 1999-2003 -Kurt Angle vs HHH from 2000-2002 -Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio from 2005 (yeah, it was only seven months, but it was still awesome)
So there is a lot of great storylines out there from some of the best feuds ever. It's easy to crap on it when you see only the bad ones, but there is some good ones out there.

Well I don't care about storylines period, i just want to see the fights and nothing else, which is why I prefer MMA.
