A large Halloween mask-making company has plans to kill millions of American children with something sinister hidden in Halloween masks.
This has a shamefully low rating on imdb (3.7). People can't get over the fact that there is no Myers, but it's the second best film in the franchise (if it counts as one). Tom Atkins is once again great and the story is dark and original. I love the small town setting as well as the score by Carpenter. What does everyone think?

It is excellent and very underrated, it has picked up a strong following however. Love the end and just love the film on a whole. Very cool and creepy.

My favorite of the series. I just watched it again a few days ago.

People also don't give it enough credit for the creepiness. At least I thought it was really creepy. There is some good gore to. Very original flick.

The guy that did the special effects in this is Tom Burman who also did another movie I love, The Beast Within.

Well, thank god I never care about something as trivial as connection to the original series, which allowed me to jump on the bandwagon of liking this one years ago when I first saw it. In fact, if that could be called a flaw, it's the only one I found.

I hate when people bitch there is no Myers, I mean they were gonna do a new Halloween plot a year. Not very hard to understand.
I love the series, the weakest by far is Resurrection, Halloween 4 and 5 are a little shaky to. But love the rest.

I actually found this film to be one of the weakest in the series, I appreciate it for having nothing to do with Myers and all that, but it just didn't do that much for me.

Ugh, were gonna have to go into this again? I think we've all given our rankings on the series every time a thread for one of the films comes up, so I'm not gonna do it this time.

Ha right? We have ranked the Halloween films a million times already. It is to hard for me anyways.
