After losing his fiancee in a car crash, for which he blames himself, suicidal Max Matheson reluctantly takes a job as a night watchman at his father's Mayflower Department Store. When his co-workers are killed off in gruesome and horrible ways and Max begins to see a mysterious young woman in all the store's mirrors, desperate to communicate with him, he fears he's losing his mind, or that he may be the next victim
What does everyone think of this?

All I gotta say is I hope it goes DTV, as the first one wasn't that great and REALLY didn't deserve a sequel.

Never seen any of the originals with this one, so what's one more for the list?
And isn't that the exact same plot as the American remake anyway?

Aja's Mirrors was a great movie. I don't expect this one to be as good as that one, but it might be okay.

I have hopes, just because it is a sequel does not mean it is a failure, I will keep my expectations low.
I do really like the first.

Bloody Disgusting has learned exclusively that Nick Stahl has landed the lead role Mirrors II, the sequel to Alex Aja's bloody ghost film being helmed by Victor Garcia (Return to House on Haunted Hill). Stahl, who took on the role of John Connor in Terminator 3, will play the role of Max Matheson.
What does everyone think?

"When MAX, a recovering addict, takes a job as a night time security guard job at his father’s department store, he begins to see visions of a young woman in the store’s mirrors. Unsure whether his visions are side effects of his prescription sleeping pills or actual reality, he begins to look deeper into the source of the images in the mirrors. When employees of the store turn up dead and Max is a suspect in the murders, he must expose the girl’s connection to a scandal within the department store’s walls in order to prove his innocence and put a stop to the spirits in the mirrors."
