Adapted by David (Hallowed Ground) Benullo, the supernatural thriller focuses on a family that relocates to a relative’s rural home only to discover it guards the border between our dimension and another which is inhabited by a race of hostile creatures.
From a novel of the same name. Film version to be directed by Stuart Gordon, for those interested.

Wow this plot's been done about 50 times already, but still it might be ood, though i don't really think Gordon's all that great.

Yeah, i saw Castle Freak, Bride of Re-Animator, and Fortress, some of his other films sound OK, but they're not very high on my list to see.

Well, you're missing out on the original Re-Animator, which is one of his best films, and even some of his mediocre stuff (Daughter of Darkness,, his MoH episode from the first season I can't remember right now) where really good.

Yeah, it's slightly overrated but I still gave it a 9/10 so I don't think it's a be-all classic either.

I would give it a 5 out of 10
A 2.5 out of 5.
Eh

i don't really have an urge to watch the original Re-animator anytime soon, as I tend to find most so-called horror "classics" to be overrated to the max! So I think i'll pass on Re-Animator for awhile.

Don't you think that is unfair?
Just because a film is called a classic you snub it?
Not the films fault.

Well even if it wasn't labelled as one, frankly it still dosen't sound like that good of a film honestly, and I have almost no urge whatsoever tos ee it right now, i've got a hundred better sounding films i'd rather see right now then that one.

I think you might like it, gory, slightly cheesy, not too serious and not at all dull. It's actually really good.
