I like the 3D idea, plus it'll bring in tons of cash

The Friday remake wasn´t too bad. It was entertaining and delivered. It had pretty much everything you expect from F13 movie.

Here is some more news. . . .
Rumors abound that actor, director, teacher and legendary special FX wizard Tom Savini will be returning to the foam-latex-and-Karo-syrup fold to handle the gore gags for Friday The 13th: Part 2, the planned Platinum Dunes-backed sequel to last year’s remake. The prospect is delicious—along with his work on George A. Romero’s Dawn Of The Dead, Savini’s groundbreaking gags in Sean S. Cunningham’s original Friday almost singlehandedly sparked the American splatter craze of the 1980s, and the visionary craftsman hasn’t done any real hands-on genre film work since 2002’s middling serial-killer biopic Ted Bundy.

Savini's involvement in a film won't make me want to watch it, but it'll be a fun time regardless.

I hope he is not involved, not because I don't like his work, I just think it is beneath him.

I'd love to see him return to the genre, it beats sitting behind the booth at con's being a dick. I'd definitely see it if he does the FX

He was pretty cold to my friend, and I've heard mostly negative things. I won't get his his autograph unless I absolutely need it.
