In this third installment of the Final Destination series, a student's premonition of a deadly rollercoaster ride saves her life and a lucky few, but not from death itself which seeks out those who escaped their fate.
What does everyone think of this?
I love it, bloody great kills, tanning booth scene is great, love the open so much. Great film.

Definitely the weakest of the three, though that's not a mark against it, just that it has a lot of great stuff to live up to and really fails in some areas. It's good, but it doesn't top anything.

I like it better then the first 2. I loved it so much I wanted to watch it again right after it ended.
Love the open.

Eh, I found everything that this tried to have been outdone in the other two entries. The only area this improves on is the women, but that's not enough to make me watch it over and over.
And don't let this mean I don't think it's a good movie or isn't entertaining, I just don't think it really has anything to stand out to compared to the others.

I think the open is the best open in the series, I think that the kills are better for the most part, lead girl is great.

The opening here was neat, but it didn't make wow me and make me think holy shit! like part 2's opening did.

The opening here was neat, but it didn't make wow me and make me think holy shit! like part 2's opening did. Yeah, same here. That was cool because it was extended, there was a ton of gags throughout and it was like the worst possible ways for everything to happen all rolled together into one chain reaction of a scene. Part 3, ooh, they're on a roller coaster, some fall from the harness, yeah so expected that to happen.

I guess it's mainly cause 2's was more realistic and it's something that could very well happen in real life, i've been occasionally worried about it happening to me admittedly, it's one of the reasons why i've avoided driving on highways so far. Part 3's opening was just a little too over-the-top to take seriously, even though it was still fun to watch.

I thought the open of 3 had by far the best setting of the series.

This opening felt like they were stretching for things to do and didn't feel realistic at all. It felt a little stupid to me.

While I woldn't call it stupid, it certainly did seem highly unrealistic.

Actually the open was original as all hell and realistic as hell, people die on rollercoasters all the time.

Yeah, but it rarely happens the way it did in the film.

And most airplanes do not explode like that, and highway accidents 99 percent of the time NEVER happen like that.

Yeah I know, I guess the main reason 3's opening didn't wow me was because of the too obvious blue-screen effects, which made the opening look really silly and hard to take seriously, 1 and 2's openings didn't have obvious effects like that.

Well a rollercoaster is quite a bit harder to do

Yeah, but it rarely happens the way it did in the film. Ah, that's the phrase I was going for. Not necessarily stupid, but when would something like that happen except in a horror film? There has to be a feeling that it could happen in real life for a situation like that to be effective, and in Part 3, the opening was a part of that.

You all know there is more of a chance that a rollercoaster will crash like that then a plane crashing?

I've heard about four or five planes crashing in the last few years but none about a rollercoaster doing the same. I'd say it's far more realistic for that to happen.
And besides, who has survived being inside a plane that blew up to tell us what would happen in that situation?
